Poster Child For Tall Girls
I’m 6’2” and I absolutely LOVE it. I play basketball and it is my life. It’s all I do. I hate it though when people constantly tell me I’m tall, its like no I didn’t know that, how intriguing.
Scholarship in USA
I got sent a link to this & I love it! I never really felt comfortable with my height until I read a lot of this. In the USA, there is a scholarship for women over 5 10 from the tall people association. I’m half an inch too short but I figured it would be helpful to pass on! I LOVE BEING TALL!!!!
My sister and I just found this blog and love to see all the posts! We have both been the tallest girls in our grade since preschool (I’m 19 and she’s 15). We love being tall and have always been comfortable with our height. Of course there are all the problems (basketball?, jeans, boys) but it’s all worth it when you have the legs that we do :) YAY FOR TALL GIRLS!!!!

I am 20 and have been 6’ 1” since 7th grade… I always hated riding the school bus because the seats were too close together and the bus driver always yelled at you for having your legs in the aisle.
Calling aisle seats anywhere else was, and still is, a must!

TIPS FOR SHIRTS and Coars
I have luck with finding shirts that fit at REI or stores like it if I get the ones with the thumb holes. They make the sleeves longer on those. Same with coats.
Tall girl problem: When I go to the bar/party I have to slouch down to other people’s height so I can hear the conversation. It makes my back hurt.

When I look at a pair of heels, someone always says, “you don’t need to be taller.”

At school I got called to the principles office for have too short of shorts. I told him they’re finger tip like they’re suppost to be, but he said it showed too much skin and not to wear them to school ever again. If I did he would take away the privilege of shorts. Its so nice too see so many other girls struggling with the same problems. My life goal is to accept my height.
