I was “window shopping” online, and out of curiosity, looked at the size chart. Based off my waist and hip size, I’m a 7. In reality, at that store, I’m an 11. This is why I can’t shop online. Tall girl problems.

I Did most of my growing in elementary school. When I entered the sixth grade I was already 5’10. Now I am 21 and 6’0 tall. I come to love my height but I used to be ashamed of it.

I hate in magazines when they have a “how to wear it for your body type” section and the tall girl is always a size 4. I’m tall and athletic but will always have curves, so I wish they’d show a more representative sample of us tall ladies.
I’m 5’10” and sometimes people say to me that i’m really tall. So I anwser them with a lovely smile ”thanks but i’m not that tall, it’s because you’re short” :P
I’m 5’11” & I have learned to embrace it! I used to hate being so tall but then I realized that it’s impossible to change, so why am I sitting here moping about it? I found the positives in it instead of just seeing the negatives and I figured out that it really is a blessing to be a tall girl. Love the way you are made instead of making it seem like God did something...

Im mexican, so everyone here is really short, being the average a little above 5’4 or something, i’m 6ft tall and Ive been the tallest all my life. I have a lot of trouble looking for guys because even the guys are really short, also i hate that the clothes never fit me, they are always too short, i swear that i cant even find shoes that fit me well.

Shortest boy in your grade asks you to Homecoming. You wear flats and are still a foot taller.
DSW is probably the best place ever to get shoes. They carry a ton of bigger sizes in shoes that are actually cute, and they don’t cost a ton of money.

I’m a 6’1” guy and I’ve seen every problem and read down to page 50 on this blog. It’s actually great. I showed this to a tall girl - also 6’1” - in one of my classes and she said she loves it and that this blog made her day!
I hope everyone here can just know that I think tall girls are just automatically that much more attractive!...

I’m 5’9 and i always get your so tall you play volleyball or basketball don’t you? and i’m always like no i’m physically awkward clearly i can’t do athletic things.
Jeans
Just wanted to let everyone know that the clothing store Charlotte Russe is great to find jeans. I’m 6 ft and always have a hard time finding them. One pair I tried on were actually too long and I had to get a regular size, which by the way never ever happens and they are pretty inexpensive. Just thought I would help out my fellow tall girls. :)
