"Waist" high jeans hit the tops of my hips, and low riders barely are on my hips... a lot of my height tends to be in the torso as well as the legs for me, and I'm high waisted as it is. Is Your Husband Tall?
My toddler was tall for his age and when people would ask how old he was and I would tell them, I often heard, “gee, he’s tall! Is your husband tall?” as they looked up to ask me the question! Eventually I would respond, “not really, but you should see his mother!” It always took them some time to understand what I was saying before slinking away …
