Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!

This is myself and my very best friend of 6 years. I am 6’0”, 20 years old and she is 5’6”, 19 years old. It took me until my high school graduation two years ago to fully accept my height, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. She is my “Shorty” and I am her “Super Model”. She has been the shoulder to lean on and to turn to when I needed encouragement about my height. I love her and I love my height.
Love your height, you can’t change it, but it can change you. Make sure it’s a change for the better because you will love your life so much more for it.

Being tall, love it or hate it?
I was around 5’3 when i was 15 but later then it became 5’6 the next two years (late puberty lol). I guess I’m not consider as “tall” here, but from where I’m from, most girls are average 4’6 to 5’4. So…
My friends and i went (window)shopping yesterday and we walked into a nice shoe shop which they arrange all their shoes according to different sizes on different rows of racks (most shoe shops here don’t do this, i wonder how are yours?). Their are size 6 but mine is size 8, so they’re at that side and I’m at this side, alone. :( But after awhile they wore high heels (around 4~5 inches) and stood beside me trying to be taller than me (which is still few inches shorter than me). This kind of situation happen quite often, I used to be pretty unhappy about this, but now I’m starting to accept my height and started to laugh together about this. I (used)to wanting to be short, my friends wanted to be tall. I fit well in pretty dresses but i don’t wear them, my friends wanted to wear dresses but the dresses look like pajamas dresses on them *cough*.
So yea, life is equal, alright *laughs*
But i’m still not gonna wear heels or dresses ‘cause it’s not comfortable and not convenient. Sneakers and pants FTW!
Oh yea, long jeans.. definitely hard to find the right size.. ughhh x__x

Wouldn’t you love to have beautiful tall children? I want mine to be athletic like me so being tall would be a bonus.

I consider anyone 5’7 and over to be tall. Most people think 6’ and over is tall because a lot of people think I’ve reached that height and I let them believe that cuz why not? Haha :)
This is me, I’m 5”9 and still wear heels. Even though it’s hard to find dresses that are long on me, I get pains in my long legs all the time and even though I tower over all my friends, I’ve learnt to embrace it! Never be ashamed of your height!
I’m 14 and 5’10 and absolutely HATE things that us tall girls have to listen to all the time!!! So in my gym class I’m starting the basketball unit. Everyone keeps saying to me “you should be good at basketball your tall”. The thing is I’m not bad at basketball but it pisses me off that people think Im going to be good at basketball just becuase Im tall!!:( I hate stereotypes!
