For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!

everythingyousayismagic asked: I'm probably the tallest girl in the 8th grade at 5'10 and I'm still growing. I do have days where I'm tired of being tall, but keeps your heads up high *pun intended * and you'll feel more comfortable in your body
classyasdevil asked: I'm 14 and 5'3 and I hate it, i would like to be 5'7 or 6'1
Be 5’3 and walk like you’re 6’3! It’s all about how you carry yourself. There are some tall people who walk slouched over and it makes them look shorter and less confident. Work with what you’re given.
iwatched-supermanflyaway asked: So I always felt like I was quite tall - 5'7 or so and i was even measured two years ago as 5'6.5 but recently i was measured as 5'5,5 (166cm) is this possible? I got people to check this reading like 10 times because i didn't believe it -_- Also is 166 cm considered tall for a 16 year old ?
No, it’s closer to average height.
wayoverobsessed asked: Hi, I'm 5''8 as far as know and I've been having growing pains all week in my legs, according to most doctors, you stop growing two years after your period, it's been almost 4. Do you think I'll still keep growing? I talked to my nurse and she said she grew to 5''9 during college....
There’s definitely more room for growth. I stopped growing 3-4 years after my period started. My doctor told me that women usually stop growing at age 18.
lavinalisaaa asked: I'm 17 and 6'3" :/ .. If there are any other girls out there who are as tall as me (I highly doubt it) message me, so we can become friends! I need a tall friend.
classyasdevil asked: 5'10.5 or 5'3???
Are you asking my personal preference? 5’10.5
I love being tall.
“Yeah, you’re taller than me. I’m actually 5’9” said no boy ever.
And then I become a human measuring stick.
“You can’t be 5’10.5, I’m 6’2.”
I just joined a couple of Meetup groups. One is Tall 20s & 30s and the other is Tall Austin Singles. The requirements for the groups are being over 5’8” (for women) or over 6’0” (men) and the second group’s logo has two giraffes in it. And guess what? There aren’t short people groups!
