Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!
"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be and you're only as small as the world will make you seem."
Awkward
It’s kinda awkward when ALL the guys at your school are way short, and your about 6 feet tall like me. I’m in the seventh grade, and I’m done growing. It’s so awkward
brittopia asked: My pediatrician told my mom that I would have been over 6' if I hadn't been such a sickly child. Alas, I have to settle for being 5'10".
Still a very beautiful height :)
Ok so I’m not even that tall, I’m 5’9”. I mean I’m taller than most of the girls in all of my classes but not tall compared to all of the girls I model with. I do runway and am one of the shortest girls there haha! So my point is, don’t complain about being tall all the time, because a) I wish I was 5’11” and b) maybe in someone’s eyes, you’re tall, but in someone else’s eyes, you could be the shortest.
um-hellothere asked: I'm 5'10 and my doctor is saying I am still growing...but I love it! I wouldn't wish to be an inch shorter! Being tall is a blessing! It does get old when people ask "oh do you play basketball? Or any sports?" And all that jazz but listen to people who are short, they always say "wow I wish I was tall." Because, girl let me tell you. Tall women are fabulous. Just be confident with your height, and be proud(: a guy would rather be with a confident girl than an insecure girl.
:)
pretty-girls-last-shorter-deact asked: Hi :) im Maria,im 13 and i am 6'1,and i would really like if someone would talk to me! I have friends, but none of them are like tall, and none of them understands that it is very depressing when you are like 20 cm and more taller than your friends! I would love if someone wrote to me,because i know that there are at least 5 girl that follow this blog that knows how i feel! :) x You are welcome to write,i would be extremely happy! x

We’re all here for you!
jess-the-cat asked: I'm about 5'11 and I'm an aspiring actress. I have auditioned for a musical for a part of the mayor's wife. However, none of the boys were taller than me so I was given the smallest chorus role of a character who only appears in the beginning (I quit). My auntie is taller than my uncle so I have grown up with unorthodox relationships and all I can think is GET OVER YOURSELF (they were willing to cast people as family who looked nothing like each other). Apart from that, I love being tall!
poorhornycat asked: Ashley. 21. 5'11. I don't have as much of a problem with pants as I do with finding shirts that are long enough and shoes that are big enough (my feet are size 11 wide). Shirt and shoe shopping are the worst because all of my friends love old navy but I can never find shirts long enough (and in colors I like, yuck!)
Yeah, their long sleeves aren’t long enough :P
Have a look at gotheight.com
fabdot asked: Hi! I'm 13 and 5'11, it's really hard finding jeans that work with my long legs and short torso. Is there any places you recommend?
Old Navy. I find that the jeans there don’t work for me with my long torso (but they’re good for long legs) so they should be good for you.
purplepaddle asked: Do you consider 5'7 (171cm) tall ? im so insecure about it srsly :/
Yes, not extraordinarily tall but yeah.
I think you girls should check the blog Style Scrapbook by Andy Torres. She is a mexican woman who used to be bullied for being “too tall” and now is a famous blogger. Plus, her style is awesome!
