Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!

Tall Girl Problem
The first thing you do after seeing an attractive celebrity is google how tall he is.
Tall Bride
I was watching Say Yes to the Dress yesterday and saw this women wearing about 3 inch stilettos. No big deal right? Well, it turns out she is 6 ft tall. Talk about confidence. Not only will she wear heels in public, but on a tv show where thousands of people will see her! It made me feel a lot better about my height (: (I’m 15 and 5’10”)

When you’re responsible for changing out smoke detector batteries and changing the clocks when daylight savings time changes.
“No, I totally know how you feel! I’m 5’8” and my feet are size 9! So huge!” Bitch, try just under 6’ with a size 11-12.
Girls who are over 5’ 9” can’t be princesses in the Disney Parks. Who wants to be tall, now?

And I was just sitting here thinking about how much I want to be a Disney princess instead of doing something intellectually stimulating. Sorry that’s just not my life goal. —KTthatbahamaschick asked: for any tall girls who have trouble finding jeans that are long enough, try ALLOY. its an online store and it has GREAT jeans that are even too long for me (and im 6 foot) c:
I’e heeard good things about them :)
Thanks so much!
The fact that Taylor Swift is tall, gives me so much confidence. Because she is so beautiful and confident and so many guys think shes perfect and im the same height as her it just brings my self esteem up so much.
thegardenofecru asked: I've only happened to be really interested in guys that were shorter than me (only slightly by like an inch or two) but they've mentioned that they like taller girls. So, is it like a thing for short guys to like tall girls and tall guys to like short girls? I don't even know because I've seen lots of tall guys with little itty bitty girlfriends
Eh. It’s just a generalization but it’s pretty common to see tall girls with short guys and short girls with tall guys. But I’ve seen combinations of everything.
Something that really bothers me is when other tall girls that are older than me (14) and that are also shorter than me say that I should love my height. What they don’t understand is that being 6’1 1/2” you can’t find jeans anywhere to fit long enough (even though maurices has some somewhat long pants and american eagle orders in store for free!). What else they don’t understand is that there aren’t any guys taller than you and the ones that are your height or a little taller fall for really short girls. I know this is kind of a rant but there are some perks to being tall. Like you can help short people get things off of the higher shelves, or you get told quite a bit that you’re beautiful and that you should become a model. So the main point of this was to be happy with yourself even though sometimes it may not seem like it’s fair that your tall, but maybe someday (according to some of my older friends that are tall too) you will enjoy and embrace your height just like how I did at homecoming by wearing 4 inch heels too :)
to the person who said that 5’9” is not tall:
I’m sorry, but I have to disagree, to an extent. I am five foot eight and a half, but I am much more leg than torso. Therefore, even tall-length jeans are sometimes too short, and dresses are almost always shirts. So, while I understand where you are coming from, us “shorter” girls have our problems too.
