Tall Girl Problems
Kendra; 17 years old; 5'10.5 For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there's always gonna be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S SO ME." Ask me stuff & tell me what you think :) Feel free to submit. And remember: Your head may be in the clouds but you're never alone. (God, I'm corny.)I’m 17 and just under six foot…like half an inch under. :/ I’m the youngest of five children and taller than my three sisters(my brother towers over us) along with both my parents. I have acquired a few unusual nicknames due to the fact that I’m tall, thin, lanky and awkward about 90% of the time because of it.
My friends calls me Giraffe. My best friend calls me Baby Giraffe/Giraffeling. One of my sisters(the shortest one) calls me Shorty. My brother consitantly is asking me when I’m going to finally start growing… he considers anyone under 6’4” as short(he’s 6’7”).
I like being tall. Sure, I hated being compared to a giraffe at first, but it’s grown on me. I think the fact that I have tall siblings(the shortest is 5’8”) helped. My sisters and I make it a point to own at least one pair of 4+ inch heals. ;) Embracing the tallness… because let’s face it, it’s pretty epic.
