Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!
"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be and you're only as small as the world will make you seem."
I’m 19 and 5’10”- I’ve been this height since I was about thirteen, and even though I’m not 100% confident with it (I hate sticking out but I love high heel shoes!) I think it’s really sad that some of you girls hate your height just because you don’t want to date men who are shorter than you! I know that society often makes you feel like the man has to be taller, but actually there are loads of famous women who are tall, beautiful and have shorter partners- Uma Thurman, Janet Jackson, Katie Holmes… seriously, just google it. Even though I know I’m not a beautiful movie star, it does make me feel better about myself sometimes and I hope it makes some of you feel better about yourselves too :) x
