Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!
"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be and you're only as small as the world will make you seem."
Most of my life I was the smallest and shortest girl in class. Eighth grade year puberty hit me like a brick wall. At first I got called a lot of things like giraffe, amazon, behemoth…it sucked. But then I realized that they will literally never be able to look down on me. Here I am seventeen and 5’10”, whereas my friend is eighteen and 5’1” (and a half). She isn’t comfortable wearing heels and I am…oh the irony. These heels make me 6’1” and I freaking loved it. Looking men in the eyes is a nice intimidation factor to ensure scaring away the cowards ;) I have been asked countless times if I can get something off the shelf for people I don’t even know, and it’s kinda nice to do stuff for them. I mean if my life turns out to be a total failure, at least I can say I saved a few people some time and energy. Long live tall girls.
