That is just so not okay. I think I would have gone off on her. I commend you for not. I can’t believe someone would...

Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!
"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be and you're only as small as the world will make you seem."
Sad work day
I’m 25, 6’2 and I try not to be insecure even though questions still bug me. I recently started work at a restaurant so all of the normal questions have arisen and I try to be polite. But today I had this horrible old woman say to me, ” It must be hard to find a man- I mean I noticed you’re not married. Do you have a boyfriend? I would think a lot of men wouldn’t be interested, or you can’t find many…” I was too dumbstruck to lash back, plus I can’t go off on her because I work in customer service. But I couldn’t believe someone would say that, or that people have the audacity to ask you questions about your dating life. And because of all the crap I dealt with regarding my height I am pretty insecure and I rarely date, and I’ve never been in a real relationship. Just had to get that off my chest and say that to women who would realize how horrible that is.
