Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!
"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be and you're only as small as the world will make you seem."
Short Old Ladies and Great Guys
There is a lady i work with who, whenever there isn’t a guy around, she’ll ask me to reach something for her off of a shelf (she can’t be much taller than 5’4”). She also assumes that because I’m tall, I’m also super strong(so it’s usually heavy stuff).
There are some things that I’m actually too short to reach(I’m really only 5’9”), so usually the guys (Who were all about 6’ tall) have to help me get stuff down. There was this one (really cute) guy who would give me a “look” when I couldn’t reach it and he’d tell me: ”Nah, you’re pretty tall. You can do this.” and he would sit and watch me try to reach it(most of the time he was right and I could get it down). One day he smiled and told me he thought it was cool that I was tall. :) From that day on, I felt more comfortable with my height-especially at work. ^^
