Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Jeans
Heya! If anyone following this lives in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, great places to find long jeans are Gabriel Brothers and the Gap Outlet in Hebron, KY. I know it’s always a pain to shop for jeans, and can be emotionally draining sometimes, and you might have to dig a little to find some good long jeans, but both of these places have provided me with great jeans.
I’m 17, wearing flats in this picture and 6’1” and I absolutely hate it. I always feel so uncomfortable around everyone else and no guys are tall in my school. People comment in my height daily and I just want them to stop. I just wish I could be a normal size.
Long Pants
I’m six foot, and I always see on here places to buy pants. I always buy my pants at Maurice’s. They have longs in store, otherwise they have extra long you can order online. That way you can try them on in store to see how they fit and special order them. I bought my skinny jeans there, just plain longs that fit great! They also have longs in dress pants, and is where I go when I’m looking for dresses that are actually long enough!
I’m under 6ft. So what?
I hate when really tall girls complain about shorter ladies talking about their height. First of all: is there a law or something stating that if you’re under 6ft you are not considered tall? No. So YOU girls shut the fuck up. I’m 5’11 but I can’t stand this kind of thing. First of all, you don’t know what these girls go through and where they’re from. An asian girl, for example, is considered SUPER tall at 5’9. In MY country (Brazil), most part of the women are between 5’2 and 5’4. One of my best friends is 5’8 and people think she’s really tall as well. My cousin is 5’7 but when she wears 4 inches heels, everybody makes those kind of comments we’re all familiar with.
Yeah, you may be taller than all of us together, but this doesn’t mean these girls don’t have problems. Think about it: that teenage girl from Brazil who’s 6’9 would probably say you’re not that tall as well. She wouldn’t understand your complaints. At least you’re not almost 7ft, right?

This is me and my best friend kayla. Were both 17 years old and ive always been way taller then her, im 5’10 and people always bully me about my height. Your site totally makes me laugh and i can relate to all of them. So glad you made this site for us tall girls :)

Okay, so hello lovely tall relatable people:) I don’t really know how this works or of I’m doing any of this right but… Here I am… I don’t actually know my exact size, I know it’s over 10’10 but I stopped measuring my self a long time ago… So I’m just tall. Being tall is really good, who wouldn’t want to be tall but it does come with a few problems. This is me with one of my closest friends, she is naturally short and I’m naturally tall… Put us together and WHAM is like a horror film… People think I’m her babysitter sometimes… I’ve been to group photoshoots where they have made a mockery of my height. Just last week I was walking into mcDonnalds and a group of lads were stood around the door one screamed: WOOW WHO’S THAT?!?! GIAAAAAANNNNNTTT. I have actually squished the smaller students at school by accident, yes it was an accident;) For any school photo it’s TO THE BACK…. Being tall is extremely food, buying jeans and shorts however aren’t. I wear a lot of heigh wasted things to… Making my legs looks huge and I adore heels making me so much bigger… Love being tall but there is a few downsides… Tall girl problems.
All you tall girls embrace it! I’m 6’2” with bright red hair and irish skin. As you can tell by my collage, my height has given me the chance to play volleyball in college and I’ve even done some modeling for a close friend of mine! Embrace your height- there’s so much you can do with it! What can I say? I come from a tall family (especially my 15 year old brother-6’6”)
Use it to your advantage, because it’s truly a gift from God.
This is me (5’11”) and my little big sister (5’6”) as you can see we got totally different genetics even down to hair colour, but we’re still really close even though we now live in different parts of the country. The only thing that sucks about our height difference is we can’t share clothes.
