Tall Girl Problems
Kendra, 17 years old, 5'10.5For all the beautiful tall girls and the problems we have to endure. Through all the teasing, feeling out of place & short hems, I'm finally coming to a point where I realized that there's nothing wrong with being a little different. People still try to tear me down about it but there will always be people doing that. These problems are mostly to make you laugh & go "OH MY GOD. THAT'S MY LIFE." But this is more than just a place to share each other's problems. It's a support group where we encourage girls to see the beauty within them (so play nice, ladies). Ask me anything & feel free to submit!

Hey guys Im Ruby and Im 6’5 and I’m barely 15. This is Devin hes one of the only guys at my school who is just as tall or taller tan me. Its been hard the looks and stares from other but some how I’ve been able to make it halfway through high school. I’ve learned to love being tall. It makes you feel powerful. Well at least it does for me. I love being 6’5 and 15. And you know what the best part is? I’m still growing.
You often think that you might actually fit in with your friends, until you take a look into the bathroom mirror and realize no slouching in the world can take away the fact that you’re a foot taller than your friends… you guys know what I deal with and I love that <3 Keep standing tall ladies! we’re super models whether we like it or not ♥
Thanks Tall Girl Problems :D
favorotesI woke up to a text from my tall best friend who I think is 5’10. She told me about how she found an anime that has a tall girl and a short guy. Its called Lovely Complex. I havent gotten a chance to watch it yet because the rest of my friends text message said to look up Tall Girl Problems. I was always a person who was againt dating a guy shorter than I and yes I admit, I even told my best friend that it would be weird if she was to actually date the boy she likes, who is shorter than her. After reading through all the problems and some of the posts from the tall girls (and even the tall guy) saying that even if they are tall, that shouldn’t bring us down, it should make us feel better. So were not models. Sure we don’t play sports. So were clumsy sometimes. Sure some guys are too short for us. But we can still embrace our height! Who care if we wear heels! They’re my favorite type of shoe! So thank you Tall Girl Problems. Ive always been self-concious about my height but ever since I read this, I feel so much better. Im Alyssa, i’m in the 10th grade this year and im 5’9 (ish). I am a tall girl :D
6’3” and rocking it!
I’m 6’3” and have been since I was 12 years old, talk about awkward. Now I am 23 and I have zero problems attracting guys or making friends. The trick… Confidence. Yes I’m super tall, taller than the Average man but I’m damn proud of it, and it’s paying off :)
Wow! I wish I had a group like this when I was growing up! I am 46, and have been 5’11” since I was about 12 years old. I always felt like a giant. My Dad is tall, and eventually my younger sister surpassed me in height, but for most of my life I was the tallest in the class, the choir, the band, the whatever. I didn’t despise it, but I didn’t learn to embrace it either. Those of you who are still young, get with it, and love what God gave you! Stand up tall and look down on everyone’s dandruff flakes!
Now I am married to a guy who at 6’2” is the short one in his family (his older brother is 6’6”). My two 16 year old daughters are both over 5’8” and never downplay their height. You wanna wear heels to the dance? Absolutely! My 5, almost 6 year old daughter is over 4’2” already. I have taken a page from my mother-in-law’s book: when people ask her what grade she is in, I tell her to answer with her age. At her height, people tend to think she’s been held back a couple of years if she says she’s just starting first grade!
I love the feeling of meeting a woman who is taller than me because it is so unusual for me. So, if you’re tall, stand up straight, ‘cause you might run into me, and I want to see you holding your head up. I’d love to be at the other end of the awkward head-to-boob hug someday!
(Tall girl problem: Deciding that every supposedly long-sleeve shirt was meant to be 3/4 sleeve ‘cause the chances of finding something that goes all the way down to your wrist is slim to none!)
PS Kendra, you will go far: even farther than you can see!
Hey tall lovelies! I hit 6’4” by the time I was 13, and things have always been difficult! Tall boys, clothes, the awkward stares from people, the whole thing. Now I’m 23, and I STILL love being tall! Never slouch, always be proud of your height. People will always notice you, and you never know who might be watching. Also, if you want a tall guy they are really out there! I had to wait a few years, but my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 and a half years and he is 6’7” :) if you want to know more about me or have questions about where I find clothes and shoes, stop by my blog! beautyandbrainswithbrowneyes.blogspot.com
Hi gorgeous girls, I’m Christina, 16, and this is my boyfriend and I :) We’ve been together for 8 months now. I wanted to share this picture you all because we are not the “typical” couple. I’m 5’11” and he is 5’5”. However, height makes no difference in our relationship. I hope to encourage you all to not lose all hope on dating simply because all the boys around you are short.. ;) It is well worth being open-minded to breaking society’s mold, because you never know who you might find. I promise there will be a guy out there who will love you regardless of your height. I’m lucky to have found mine. Love you all <3
